Meet the Founders, Amber Bieg & Deb LaSalle
Meet Amber
For nearly 20 years, Amber has been working with companies and communities on sustainability-focused solutions ranging from developing Open Tree Map, enterprise ecosystem management software to helping to design the Food Commons regional food system. As both a left-brain and right-brain thinker with a mastery of technology and an eye for design, Amber uses Design Thinking, Scenario Planning, and other frameworks to help clients come identify with out-of-the-box ways to solve highly complex problems. Amber has an MBA from Presidio Graduate School and a BA from the University of Oregon.
Meet Deborah
Deborah LaSalle has over two decades of experience facilitating private companies and government agencies in public outreach, strategic planning for future growth, refining organizational culture and visions, creating partnerships and collaborations, and providing leadership trainings. Ms. LaSalle leads leadership development courses that move companies closer to meeting their self-defined goals. She works with companies in further engaging employees, clients and collaborative partnerships. She streamlines business processes and brings credibility and integrity to business communications.
Prior to engaging in the private sector, Ms. LaSalle worked at EnviroIssues and Leidos (formerly SAIC), leading nearly two dozen project teams on strategic planning efforts engaging in public outreach for government projects involving environmental assessments or impact statements (EAs and EISs) in 25 different states. She managed six-figure budgets and teams of user-experience designers , graphic designers, project managers, and high-profile government representatives. For counties and cities in Idaho, she supported comprehensive planning processes, facilitating work groups and providing conflict resolution.
Deborah has a JD with an emphasis in environmental law from the University of Utah, studying international law at the University of Innsbruck, Austria and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Idaho.
