Partnerships Lead

Melinda Jones

A born and raised Idaho spud, Melinda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Literature from Sarah Lawrence College and has over a decade of experience in engaging and empowering communities through marketing, communications and events. After living abroad for a few years, she returned to her hometown of Boise and most recently co-founded HMK Impact, a reporting and analytics agency dedicated to helping organizations—from nonprofits to for-profits—tell their impact stories through thoughtful data analysis and creative design. She also has experience in project management, public lands and climate change policy, client/partner relations, and filmmaking. When she’s not collaborating on meaningful projects or organizing her (impeccable) email inbox, you’ll find her outdoors swimming in rivers, hiking in the hills behind her home, skiing up at Bogus, or enjoying the Idaho sunshine with her family.

Fun Fact: I spent a year volunteering at Monkeyland in South Africa to film and photograph monkeys, birds, tigers, cheetahs, and more.
